Home Sweet Home! After several months of hard work, week-end’s been truly free for nap time and pics time. As it started not in such a good way, as all along the road to the Beigua GeoPark woods the road was filled with mashed toads, i finally arrived home late in the evening and i found a very (strangely) dry terrain.
So no surprise when saturday evening started raining lots of Fire Salamanders began to spread all around, my garden included. Just i wander i obliged my father to bring me around with his Suzuki under heavy rains to find the one and only toad going around.
- Fire Salamander (Salamandra salamandra)
- Common Toad (Bufo Bufo)
Hints:
- always bring them back in the place where you took them for a ride (or “abducted” to tell with Conspiracies theorists);
- keep them in a dark, safe and humid place (not near the stove in your place).
