La Spezia Container Terminal
Here are a few images from a day spent in the Port of La Spezia, at the La Spezia Container Terminal of the Contship Group. All images have been taken on november 24, 2010 with a Canon Eos 45od and a EF-S 55-250 mm lens.
The La Spezia Container Terminal, belonging to Contship Italia Group, is one of the most important and experienced container terminals in Europe, and it is located at the east side of the Gulf of La Spezia. It has been operating on Fornelli pier since the Eighties and on the Angelo Ravano area since 1998, for a total actual surface of more than 270,000 sqm.
