When i lived in the hills over Genoa spring was always very exciting for an Amphibian passionate. A chorus starts in march and keeps on going throughout summer as among houses there are small kitchen gardens with several fresh water and small creeks flowing towards the sea which provide an ideal habitat for small frogs as Hyla Meridionalis and the common toad Bufo Bufo.
Quick blitzkriegs allow couch->frogs->photoset->runfreebaby!->couch in a single evening. Here are some shoots of different individuals. A very interesting feature was noted in spring 2015 with the same individual frog and (probably) different hormones levels, showing two distinct liveries fresh from the ground and after a 24 hours captivity.
